HR Self Service

HR self-service empowers employees to access HR and payroll information and complete various transactions, including time management. This is facilitated through a suite of solutions, such as PeopleSoft, UKG/Kronos, and other resources available on Holycross.edu.

2024 Self Service Initiative 

In alignment with HR's dedication to Aspire's World Class Workforce Pillar, we have recently introduced an initiative centered on developing and continuously updating self-service resources. These enhancements are driven by feedback and the evolving needs of our workforce. To explore each deployment and access valuable resources, please click the links below.

In February, HR introduced the first phase of a new technology initiative aimed at enhancing self-service features. As we prepare for further rollouts and additional self-service solutions, we need your help to ensure your information in HR is accurate and up to date. This accuracy is crucial for the success of these new tools and solutions. Timely communication is critical in the event of an emergency on campus. In alignment with Public Safety's commitment to a safe and secure community, we are implementing changes to the My Emergency Notifications information in PeopleSoft HR Self-Service to increase the reach of alerts to our employees in the event of an urgent situation.  Therefore, the information in this email is specific to faculty and staff.

Beginning today, employees who have a mobile number in PeopleSoft will be automatically enrolled to receive phone and text notifications to their mobile device in the event of an emergency. While it is strongly encouraged that all employees remain enrolled to receive these emergency alerts, employees can elect to “opt-o/media/245326ut” of calls and or texts.   This information will only be used in the event of an emergency by the Holy Cross Emergency Notification System and Human Resources.  Please remember to update your information if it changes in the futureTo learn more about HC Alerts including instructions on how to download the complementary RAVE Guardian Safety app, please visit Public Safety’s website.  For information on how to manage your Emergency Notifications data,  click the links below:

Complete List of Self Service User Guides, Instructions and Recordings 

UKG/Kronos is the source of record for time worked and accrued time, earned and taken.  All employees have access to the solution to record and manage time worked, view accruals and request time off.  Managers/ Supervisors or Timekeeping personnel, utilize the solution to manage time for employees, which includes reviewing and approving hours as well as managing time off requests.
