The Purchasing Department actively seeks out opportunities to obtain services and goods from certified diverse suppliers that can provide competitive quality, value and pricing. When all business considerations are determined to be equal among competitive suppliers, the College will make every effort to award contracts to local small businesses, minority owned business enterprises (MBE), women owned business enterprises (WBE), disadvantaged, and veteran owned businesses.
The Purchasing Department will continuously research Small and Minority Owned Business directories and consortiums to identify potential suppliers for new projects. The College is committed to maintaining an equitable and competitive business environment.
