Why I chose Holy Cross: I fell in love with the beautiful campus and the Holy Cross community.
When I knew I was meant to be a Crusader: I knew I was meant to be a Crusader when my mom had me take a picture in front of the College of the Holy Cross sign on Linden Lane before my first tour. Or when I received my freshman year room number that is also my birthday, 314.
My favorite thing about Worcester: My favorite thing about Worcester is the DCU center. They have so many different events ranging from hockey games to monster truck racing.
My favorite HC tradition: My favorite HC tradition is the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. From the chorus singing, to the light show, and enjoying some hot chocolate with the entire HC community.
Advice for your college search: When applying to colleges, think about what environment would best suit you. Look at schools with different sizes and try to decide which will work best for you. It is also possible to get the feeling of the “perfect” place :)
The best/favorite food on campus: My favorite food spot on campus is definitely Cool Beans. Nothing beats their breakfast sandwich and green tea with a shot of raspberry syrup!
What I love about the Holy Cross community: Being able to develop long lasting relationships with other students, and teachers. I love sitting in a classroom with friends at night, ordering some food, and doing work together :)
Favorite spot on campus: Memorial Plaza for sure! There’s a fountain, tables with
umbrellas, and benches! I enjoy sitting with friends talking/eating, doing work down
there, or simply enjoying the weather when it's nice outside.
