Who can borrow equipment?
Members of the Holy Cross community can borrow equipment for school-related projects. Priority is given to curricular and cocurricular projects and events. To borrow equipment, you need a valid Holy Cross ID Card.
What equipment is available?
Laptops are available through the ITS Helpdesk. For equipment in the Hogan Center, please make the request through Conference Services.
Does anyone else loan equipment?
In addition to equipment available through some college departments, the MRC has some equipment available. Some of the Libraries on campus also have equipment available for use.

I’m getting messages that I haven’t returned equipment. What should I do?
Please contact A-V Services or the MRC, depending on where you borrowed or returned the equipment. It may not have been checked back in to the system.
I sent you an email asking for equipment, but when I came to A-V, nothing was available. Why is this?
Because we serve requests for all the academic departments on campus, there are times when equipment will not be available. This is especially true in the middle and at the end of the semester.
Please, do not assume that equipment will be reserved for you just because you have requested it. When the A-V department gets a request, we usually contact the requesting party to verify what the equipment is for, what equipment is needed, and other parameters of the loan. Once it is entered into our calendar, we will send a confirmation message.
Occasionally, due to events beyond our control, we will need to make substitutions just before your loan.
Please be sure to return your equipment on time. Other people may be depending on it for their project, and by keeping it “one extra day,” you may cause severe problems for them.
I’ve never used a _____! What should I do?
Let the A-V department know when you reserve the equipment, and we’ll set up a training session.
