Holaaa!!
My name is Valeria Mannucci and I will be one of your Spanish FLAs this year. I was raised in the small and rainy Huancayo City in Perú, right in between the Andes Mountains.
I come from the Theater, and that is my favorite thing to do and to share with others, and I believe it has the best tools for learning. Language learning, especially English, has been another one of my passions since I can remember. So I am already thrilled to mix all on our journey to Spanish. I already had the experience to be a teacher’s assistant in the past, while I was finishing my Performing Arts Degree, that’s when I realized I love being a part of people's journey to new knowledge.
Music is also one of my biggest pastimes. I love to bond with other people over it, I love singing and dancing, and I also play a little guitar. And I truly think that music and theater and movies are the biggest carriers of culture nowadays, so I am always more than willing to experience something new to me. In all different languages or rhythms or styles.
I self-identify as more of an extrovert than an introvert. Even though I do have my shy moments, I love to make new friends, start a conversation and just talk about any topic.
