Hola!
My name is María and I will be on the Spanish FLA’s team during the course 2023-2024. I am 22 years old and I am from one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, León. Here, I had the opportunity to study a degree in English Studies and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Teacher Training.
I have been working as a teacher since I was 18 years old and I knew from the very beginning that this was my passion. My fascination for languages started when I was a little girl, that is why I speak three languages: English, French and Spanish. However, I believe that they are never enough and I would love to have the opportunity to speak as many as possible. Apart from studying languages, I love reading, writing, listening to music, but most of all traveling. Fortunately, I have been lucky enough to travel to many countries around the world and live as many adventures as my mind can retain, accompanied by wonderful people.
I consider myself a very sociable person; I love meeting new people, discovering their stories and traditions. These last few years I have been able to participate in several exchanges with people from different countries such as Ireland, Italy, Germany, the United States, among others. These experiences have made me a more open-minded person and to be able to appreciate the richness and diversity of the world.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and sharing this amazing experience together. It is going to be the year of our lives.
