About the Speaker: Katya Gibel Mevorach is professor of anthropology and American studies at Grinnell College. She is author of "Black, Jewish and Interracial: It's Not the Color of Your Skin but the Race of Your Kin, and Other Myths of Identity" (Duke University Press, 1997).
About the Talk: Professor Gibel Mevorach offers historical and global context for contemporary anti-Semitism, exploring forms of Jewish and intersectional identity. Her talk is supported by the Kraft-Hiatt Fund for Jewish-Christian Understanding and a grant from the Academic Engagement Network.
