About the Speaker: James Carroll is the author of 11 novels and eight works of non-fiction, including the National Book Award-winning "An American Requiem," the New York Times bestselling "Constantine's Sword," and "Jerusalem, Jerusalem," which was named a 2011 Best Book by Publishers Weekly. His Boston Globe columns won the 2012 Scripps Howard National Journalism Award for Commentary.
About the Talk: James Carroll talks about his personal journey with war and the Catholic priesthood, which led to the writing of his latest book, which offers a historical account of Jerusalem, a city at the crossroads of deep faith and violence.
