Workshops & Coaching
Attend workshops and personalized coaching events each semester. One-on-one appointments allow for a collaborative process of developing a personalized performance-enhancing plan. Learn to set academic goals, manage time effectively, improve study habits and to take advantage of all of Holy Cross’ resources.
Center for Writing
Pursue and embrace the idea of eloquentia perfecta, the Ignatian concept of eloquence in persuasive speech and writing produced for the common good.
Develop writing processes through brainstorming, outlining, drafting, reading work together and discussing revision, through The Writer’s Workshop. The Center for Writing also offers in-class workshops, faculty writing groups, consultations on faculty writing and research and more.
Awards, Honors and Fellowships
Holy Cross students have an exceptional record of receiving national and international grants, fellowships, scholarships, and awards. These highly selective awards have supported students during and after their time at Holy Cross in areas ranging from research and graduate studies to studying and teaching languages abroad. Awards have included the Truman Award, the Goldwater Scholarship, and a remarkable number of Fulbright teaching and research fellowships.
