Biography
Helen Whall joined the College's English department in 1976 and retired from teaching in 2017. Whall has taught numerous courses on Shakespeare, Renaissance Drama and in the relation of law to drama. She has published on these topics and other subjects, both in scholarly journals and the popular press. The Helen M. Whall Chair in Race, Gender and Social Justice was established in her honor and created in recognition of Whall's contributions to her students and the College over the years.
