Biography

Robert Garvey has been teaching at the College since 1977 and is now distinguished as Associate Professor, Emeritus in Physics. Garvey is responsible for developing courses for physics and non-science majors, as well as helping create science partnership programs with schools of the Worcester Public School system. In 2000, Garvey was named U.S. Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
