Biography
John Carter retired from Holy Cross in 2013, after thirty-seven wonderful years of instruction, scholarship and service. Carter has very happily had no problem filling his time pursuing personal interests, such as following New England sports, international soccer leagues and auto racing. He is also an avid four-season hiker throughout New England, listener of Americana and Roots music and vegetable and fruit gardener in the spring and summer.
While Carter is no longer active in academic pursuits, he still welcomes communication and visits from former students. He regularly frequents the Holy Cross campus, and you can usually find him at either the athletic facilities or Dinand Library.
