Biography

Heidi Grek holds a doctorate degree in Germanic Languages and Literatures and Comparative Literature from Washington University in St. Louis (2019) and a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross (2012). After spending the past academic year as a postdoctoral scholar at Vanderbilt University, she is excited to return to her alma mater.

Her research interests include Goethe, the European epic tradition, and world literature. She continues to develop the comparative readings from her dissertation of Faust and Paradise LostThe Divine Comedy, and Byron’s Don Juan.
