Biography

Edward Isser, Distinguished Professor of Ethics and Society, holds a joint doctorate in Drama and Humanities from Stanford University. He is the author of Stages of Annihilation: Theatrical Representations of the Holocaust and has published articles and reviews in journals such as Modern Drama, Theatre Journal, Essays in Theater, The Shakespeare Bulletin and The Bernard Shaw Annual. A member of Actors Equity Association and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, he has directed over forty academic and professional theatre productions.
