About the Speaker: An International Visiting Jesuit Scholar with the McFarland Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture for the Fall 2011 semester, Rev. Francis Britto, S.J. is a native of India who has lived in Japan since 1973. He is a professor at Sophia University Tokyo and holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from Georgetown University. At Holy Cross, he taught and researched sociolinguistics.
About the Talk: In this talk, Fr. Britto draws connections between current trends in Christianity and the basic tenets of Hinduism.
