Portrait of Rev. Charles L. Kimball, S.J. (1880-1934), who taught at Holy Cross from 1905 to 1910, spending three years as an instructor in the preparatory school and two years as a professor of classics. He briefly left Holy Cross in 1910, but returned in 1915 and continued to teach classics until his retirement in 1930. Following his retirement, he served as the director of Dinand Library. Kimball Hall was named in his honor in 1935.
