In addition to equipment generally available for loan, Audio-Visual Services has cameras and accessories reserved for use by the department. These are generally not listed in the loan catalog.
Still photography equipment includes digital SLR cameras, lenses, filters, and lighting equipment.
Video equipment includes studio and special-purpose cameras, switching and titling equipment, and sound, lens and lighting kits.
As a result of the level of expertise needed to use this equipment, in most cases a member of the A-V department will need to set up and operate the equipment for projects or events.
