Transfer Students

Second- and third-year transfer students are welcome to apply to Holy Cross, though spaces are limited. The transfer application deadline is November 1 for the spring semester and May 1 for the fall semester. For more information, please call the Admissions Office at 800-442-2421.

Interviews

An interview with a member of the Admissions Staff is highly recommended for all transfer applicants. It is the applicant’s responsibility to arrange an appointment in advance by calling the Admissions Office at 800-442-2421. Interviews are offered Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.

Financial Aid

Financial assistance at Holy Cross is need-based. There are limited funds available for transfer students. All students must complete the CSS Profile and the FAFSA forms. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Housing

Housing is available to transfer students.

Requirements

  • A complete official transcript of all college work, including current-semester courses.
  • Two recommendations from current professors.
  • A statement of good standing completed by the Dean of Students at the college you are currently attending.
  • Final transcript of all high school work.
  • Standardized testing is optional.
  • Catalog pages (or photocopies) giving course descriptions of all subjects completed or to be completed.
  • A check or money order in the amount if $50.00, made payable to: Treasurer, College of the Holy Cross.
The Admission Committee cannot make a decision on an application with out all of the above requirements.
