Certification of Finances
The Certification of Finances form helps us to obtain complete and accurate information about the funds available to international applicants who want to study at Holy Cross. All sources of support must be listed in U.S. dollars and indicate a student’s ability to cover the full cost of attendance for each academic year they would be enrolled.
Financial aid for international students (who are not United States citizens or permanent residents) is extremely limited and would be awarded to only extraordinarily qualified students. Aid is awarded to United States citizens and permanent residents based on a need analysis. Academic merit scholarships are also extremely limited.
Bank Letter or Financial Affidavit
A bank letter or financial affidavit written in English detailing total assets in USD must be included in the application for consideration.
TOEFL® Exam
All non-native speakers of English must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 213 for the TOEFL Computer Based Exam or a minimum of 550 for the Paper Based (PBT) TOEFL exam or a minimum score of 79 for the internet-based (iBT) TOEFL Exam is required.
