Printmaking expands drawing into multiples, introducing layering and improvisation.
Students are introduced to techniques of relief printing, screen printing, Intaglio printing and monotype. Students examine different sources of artistic content and use the strategies of printmaking to realize their own ideas.
Complementary to printmaking, Book Projects investigates the relationship between the form of the book and its content. Students learn to make diverse book structures and explore a range of conceptual approaches to the book.
